Jason Morrison is a licensed outfitter for the State of Montana.  Minimalistic backcountry survival is a passion of his.  As a young man, he was an accomplished rock climber, mountaineer, and competitive archer.  In his early twenties, he certified as alpine ski, telemark, and snowboard instructor and is well-versed in avalanche and sub-zero survival techniques.

He spent many years guiding high elevation, late season hunts, sleeping on the ground in bivy sacs.  As a lecturer for the Montana Master Hunter Course, Jason shares his knowledge of minimalist backcountry survival and hunting.

Using these experiences, Jason offers customizable backcountry survival trips, individually tailored to your interests.  One of the primary goals is for you become comfortable with your surroundings.  You will be able to accomplish much more once you realize some of the largest mountains in the northwest are not as tough as you are.
