The horsemanship and packing techniques of the old-school mountain men is becoming a lost art. As a young man, Jason was blessed to guide and wrangle for one of the best packers and mountain men in the West, Jeff Freeman. Jeff was trained by the great packers Jack Hooker and Howard Copenhaver.
Jason shares his knowledge of minimalistic backcountry survival and hunting as lecturer for the Montana Master Hunter course.
