Jason Morrison is a Montana licensed hunting outfitter. He is licensed to commercially guide hunting using horses and pack horse/mules.
The horsemanship and packing techniques of the old-school mountain men is rapidly becoming a lost art. As a young man, Jason was blessed to guide and wrangle for one of the best packers and mountain men in the West, Jeff Freeman. Jeff was trained by the great packers Jack Hooker and Howard Copenhaver.
Jason is a lecturer for the Montana Master Hunter course, where he shares his knowledge of minimalistic backcountry survival and hunting.
